UPDATE 6-8-07  Haofei Wei One of Five Students Chosen to Represent United States in Physics Olympiad.

The American Association of Physics Teachers announced the five finalists yesterday.

UPDATE 6-01-07: Haofei Wei advances to the next round.

Haofei Wei of Broken Arrow, a senior at OSSM, was named to the U.S. Physics Olympiad Team by The American Association of Physics Teachers and the American Institute of Physics.

He also scored a perfect 36 on the ACT and is the captain of the OSSM Varsity TEAM+S engineering team. 

Last year both he and Otis Chodosh, class of 2006 were selected for the team. Otis went on to win a gold medal at the international competition in Singapore.
